It was only a matter of time before the big dogs at the tech table joined the AI race and now Amazon have brought their very own Q to the world.
However, Amazon are not here to rival ChatGPT with a know-all, be-all chat bot, as they have built Q to specifically assist business owners, especially ones heavily involved in AWS.
Itās aimed at people who use AWS at work, including coders, IT administrators, and business analysts. In response to typed requests, it will help developers write code, answer questions about how to use AWS cloud services for administrators, and generate business reports by tapping into QuickSight, a business intelligence platform in AWS.

Weāve gone double bubble with the news on Amazonās Q today but itās dominating the headlines so weāll give a differing spin on this.
Analysts are predicting that Amazonās focus on making data private (not going into the LLM information forever), will be a determining factor in businesses and companies using the AWS specific AI bot instead of ChatGPT.
In shortā¦ you can enter your data into ChatGPT and the LLM will learn it and possibly regurgitate it elsewhere (It happened for a Samsung coder entering in private Samsung data into ChatGPT). Where as Amazonās Q will maintain that business data remains private.
