Sam Altman, the granddaddy of OpenAI said this week that ChatGPT could develop superhuman persuasion before it develops superhuman general intelligence, which could lead to some strange outcomes.

What does he mean by that? ChatGPT will be persuading and convincing us that the sky is green before it becomes our overlords and we work for AI in a miserable dystopia?
As Sam Altman get’s his daily question of ‘Will AI take over humanity and end human existence?’ Altman reminded us that ChatGPT is more likely to be able to persuade people in their thinking, rather than controlling.
Observers and critics stated that we as humans are already at a level of persuasion by other humans, so it will be no different to what we already experience.

World leaders and the media are making people apprehensive about ChatGPT becoming too persuasive and spreading mis-information. Hmm…Nothing to see here… 📺️
A recent survey found that 54% of men are now using AI in their personal or professional lives, compared to just 35% of women.
BBC journalists, tech industry leaders and psychologist have been making a range on conclusions. The BBC asked a number of women for their personal reasons and were met with answers of women keeping their authenticity, which they don’t think AI can do.

One AI app creator has put it down to tradition in stating that STEM jobs, (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) are heavily male dominated industries and that AI is closer to STEM jobs than others.
One psychologist also said that women tend to want to be more competent in something before using it where as men will take more risks. There was also comments that this is why men enjoy Sci-Fi genres a lot more, and that AI is portrayed closer to Sci-Fi than anything else at the moment.
