ChatGPT, the popular AI language model, has a hidden talent: it can unwittingly generate malicious computer code.

A recent study from the University of Sheffield uncovered vulnerabilities in ChatGPT and its Chinese counterpart by Baidu. These weaknesses could turn them into tools for cyberattacks, compromising databases, stealing data, and disrupting services.

The shift from using AI as conversational aids to productivity tools has raised concerns. Even well-intentioned users might inadvertently create damaging code.

This issue highlights the need for transparency in AI model training and better user understanding of AI-generated content. Cybersecurity experts warn of increasing AI-related threats, making it a hot topic at the upcoming UK AI Safety Summit.

ChatGPT: From helpful AI to accidental hacker in one conversation. 🤦🏻‍♂️🤖

When Sam Altman (CEO of ChatGPT maker OpenAI) tweeted yesterday the world went mad with worry about what it may or may not mean, so who better to interpret the tweet than ChatGPT itself! See its response to the tweet below:

“This text suggests that the author anticipates artificial intelligence (AI) systems becoming exceptionally skilled at persuading or convincing humans to do something, even before they achieve a level of intelligence that matches or surpasses human capabilities in all areas.

The reference to "superhuman persuasion" implies that AI could become highly effective at influencing human behavior, potentially surpassing human abilities in this specific domain.

The author also hints that this situation might result in unexpected or unusual consequences, possibly related to ethical, social, or practical concerns surrounding AI's persuasive power.

Well you heard it from the man himself first, dont say he didn’t warn us! 🤯

You can now create your own images on ChatGPT using the Dall-E plug in.

Dall-E can create images from your own prompts. Just like it’s rival Midjourney.

To use Dall-E and start creating your own images, simply head to settings, Beta Features, turn on Dall-E and then turn on in your ChatGPT profile.

Here is a tutorial video on how to set up Dall-E and create your own images using ChatGPT.

Good Luck and get creating!

Microsoft's Intelligent Cloud unit has experienced significant growth, with a 19% increase in revenue in the last quarter, thanks to the rising demand for compute power, largely fueled by cloud computing.

This growth surpasses that of competitors like Alphabet and Apple. Microsoft's strategic investment in generative AI startup OpenAI, known for ChatGPT, has allowed it to integrate AI into its services while maintaining controlled spending on research and development (R&D). OpenAI's tools can be accessed via Microsoft's Azure cloud platform, and Microsoft has incorporated AI assistance into products like Word and Excel.

Additionally, Microsoft's acquisition of Activision Blizzard and a significant back taxes bill from the US Internal Revenue Service are financial considerations, but the company's strong cash generation is expected to offset these expenses.

Microsoft's robust performance in cloud computing has contributed to its high price-to-earnings multiple, second only to Amazon among trillion-dollar companies.

Microsoft invested $1B in OpenAI after the original founders had only put in $130m… although the proposed valuation at that time is unreported, with the most recent published valuation at $80-90B Microsoft have seen some serious gains whichever way you look at it! Well done Chatty G (PT). 💁🏻‍♀️💰
