OpenAI, known for ChatGPT, is launching custom versions of ChatGPT called GPTs, tailored for specific use cases without requiring coding skills.

These GPTs will be available in the GPT Store, offering more control over ChatGPT. Creators will be compensated based on usage, accessible to ChatGPT Plus subscribers and OpenAI enterprise customers.

OpenAI announced this at its first developer conference, DevDay, alongside a turbocharged GPT-4, reduced model prices, and the revelation that ChatGPT now boasts 100 million weekly users.

The goal is to create an AI superintelligence, with paid subscriber access aimed at boosting OpenAI's revenue potential, potentially reaching a $90 billion valuation.

So OpenAI much like Apple will let you make and sell products to use on its tech so long as it gets a healthy slice of the money you make. 💁🏻‍♀️💰

OpenAI, the creator of ChatGPT, is introducing "Copyright Shield" to cover legal costs related to copyright infringement claims for ChatGPT Enterprise and API users.

This offer, announced at OpenAI's first developer conference, applies to businesses and developers but excludes free version users.

OpenAI's move follows similar actions by tech giants like Google, Microsoft, and Amazon for their generative AI software, and aligns with efforts to address copyright concerns stemming from training AI models on large datasets containing copyrighted material.

Despite past copyright-related suits from authors and the Authors Guild, OpenAI aims to collaborate with content creators to navigate these issues.

A host of legal lawsuits have been slanted at OpenAI this year but rather than remove the ability to crawl the copyrighted material on the net it is saying ‘Im bigger than you’ to anyone that wants a fight. This could get interesting… 🦾

Who is going to keep us safe before total AI domination? Well cyber security will look a whole lot different.

As companies look to install AI Cyber Security here is Darktrace.

Darktrace uses AI to detect company patterns and detect cyber security problems before they begin. Even those pesky phishing emails.

Take a look at the Darktrace AI introduction video here.

We pay to keep our cars and house safe, why don’t we always pay to keep cyber safe? Stay safe out there.

In a nod to the classics, Samsung has christened its latest AI creation "Gauss," after the famous 19th-century German mathematician. But let's be honest, if Gauss were here today, he might have some equations to solve involving the exponential growth of AI chatbots.

Samsung is jumping on the bandwagon of AI chatbot development, hoping to compete with the likes of ChatGPT. They're envisioning Gauss as the ultimate office assistant, helping staff draft emails, summarize documents, and perform linguistic acrobatics like translating content. Because who doesn't need a virtual Gauss to make their coffee too?

Companies worldwide are racing to build their AI models, hoping to claim a slice of the ever-expanding AI pie. Samsung, ever the innovator, is also dabbling in other AI tools, like coding assistants and a magical platform that turns keywords into dazzling visuals. Soon, your cat video searches will have the artistic flair of a Renaissance masterpiece.

But let's not forget the cautionary tale here. Samsung had to put its foot down earlier this year when it discovered employees had been treating generative AI like their personal confidant, sharing sensitive code like it was yesterday's gossip.

So, as we venture further into the brave new world of AI, remember that even mathematicians from centuries past can find their digital reincarnations helping you compose emails. Gauss would be proud.

So Samsung is back in the generative AI game, but this time, they promise it's different… ✌️
